- Vaughn Pedersen of Lake Zurich A memorial visitation for Vaughn Pedersen 91, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday Jan. 2, at the Trinity Community Church 1190 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, 847-367-8501. Mr. Pedersen passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009. Vaughn owned Amity Plastics in Chicago for 38 years. He was a charter member of Society of Plastic Engineers. He served in the Army Air Corps as a bomber pilot during World War II. He was a longtime resident of Prospect Heights and Mount Prospect. He is survived by his sons, Edward (Elizabeth), Vaughn (Kirsten), Steven (Pam) and Peter (Joan) Pedersen; one daughter, Tina (Jim) Kriss; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Edward (Sally) Pedersen. Arrangements were entrusted to Northern Illinois Funeral Services, Inc., 847-833-2928.
